On May 10, 2010 permission was granted for the LMA:
"Greetings,
I am an artist who would like to be included in the Live Music Archive, for the purposes of shows for public download and noncommercial, royalty-free circulation.
I will be touring this summer and will be arranging for some recording. It's okay for anyone to upload this stuff, by more than likely it will just be myself and my co-conspirators posting stuff.
I think archive.org is amazing, by the way.
